Q1. How long does it take to receive my stationery once my order is placed?

Q1. How long does it take to receive my stationery once my order is placed?A1. This depends on how quickly the proofs are approved, but it usually takes a little over a month. Invitations are usually sent out six weeks before the wedding. To keep yourself stress-free, allow a week or so to fill them in & address and stamp them. It's a good idea to order your samples two months before you need the invitations (three and a half months before your wedding). You will receive your proofs by email five working days after all the details (including wording) have been submitted and the deposit has been received. (If you opt to receive your proofs by post this will take a bit longer & depend on postal delivery times.) Your stationery will be ready for delivery fifteen working days after you have approved the proofs by email and the balance has been received. All full orders within Ireland are delivered within one working day, by courier. Delivery to the UK usually takes three working days but can take longer; and delivery to the US usually takes about a week. For deliveries outside Ireland you can choose from a range of courier & posting options. Q2. How do I place an order?A2. There are several steps:
Q3. What is included in the prices?A3. Personalised messages (on inside leaf) on invitations (day & evening), thank-you cards, reply-cards and save-the-date cards. Personalised captions on the outside of the booklet covers & menu covers. Envelopes for all invitations, thank-you cards, reply cards, and save-the-date cards. What is not included?Delivery is not included. Delivery within Ireland is 12 euro per delivery, so if you are ordering more than one item it's advisable to order them at the same time! Delivery outside Ireland is at cost. Proofs by post are not included, but can be ordered for an additional fee. PLEASE NOTE: Changes to the wording or other details after the deposit has been paid, costs 25 euro per change. Please check all details carefully before placing your order. If you are unsure about anything you can email us prior to placing your order. Q4. Can you design a picture especially for my invitations?A4. Sadly, no. While I love to draw, commissions are not my forté. I've found that it is better to offer a good range of designs which includes images suitable for all types of weddings: black tie; casual; quirky or fairytale. Q5. Can an existing design be changed slightly?A5. Again, unfortunately, no! I am gradually getting all the designs printed in vegetable inks (which are better for the environment). To do this, I need to get thousands printed at the same time, so it is not possible to print a hundred or so in a different variation. Q6. I saw a design I liked on the gallery last year, but now it has vanished! Where is it?A6. Some designs are just being tidied up a bit before being restored to the webiste, but I do prune the designs each year so it may be that it has been retired. Designs that are getting their hair & make-up done are: All the Autumn designs (WD014; WD015; WD016 & 16b) and the Winter designs (WD020; WD036; WD037) and the following all-season designs:WD006 - Wedding Kisses - a cute couple kissing (she has a veil and is holding dusky-pink roses; he has a top hat on) WD005 - Tango - a very stylish couple are dancing (she has high heels; they are simply drawn in black pen, with tiny touches of red flowers) WD013 - Rosebud - a couple kissing (she has red roses in her hair and is holding a bunch of roses behind her back) WD019 - Forever - a couple on a bench, in black and white WD022 - First Dance - Couple dancing, Regency style (Jane Austen) costumes WD029 - Happy Couple - Simply-drawn cartoon-like couple in pink & green The all-season designs will be up on or before January 14th, and the Autumn and Winter designs will follow ... in a bit. Q7. Where are all your non-wedding designs?A7. For the moment I am concentrating on organising the wedding stationery part of my business. At Christmas I do exercise the elves-and-trolls-and-Regency-romance bits of my brain, but for the rest of the year I am just too busy. However I do hope to open a sister site next year which will display all my other work. If you are interested in receiving emails about this, you can join the other mailing list. Q8. Can I use your design and print the stationery myself?A8. No, I don't lease the designs for printing, so they are only available as cards, produced by Baglady Designs. |
